I needed something to keep me busy the week between Christmas and New Years and settled on a home improvement project.
Since my newfound love for chalkboard paint, I decided to finally paint this old boring shelf.
So. Much. Better.
I have an obsession with the color gray so when I found chalkboard paint that you can tint I was instantly sold. We haven’t tested it out yet (I buy chalkboard paint and no chalk) but I can’t wait to do so. Now it just needs some new accessories (obviously) like a new frame or this amazing decanter I spotted at Anthropologie and it will be complete.
PS - How awesome is Jay’s buddha?! He may or may not have tried to play the drinking glass as an instrument at the hibachi place on his birthday. Ah, good times.
